It’s Karen’s Freshman year of high school and she doesn’t want to continue the path she was on in middle school, which got her beaten up on the last day of 8th grade. High school is her chance for a clean slate but she still has a lot of old bad habits and the trouble and chaos she got herself into in middle school isn’t likely to go away. Making new friends isn’t always easy for Karen but she finds a group of creative outcasts who take her on as one of them and she begins to discover her true self.
