This is the first chronological book in the 7 book series, “The Offbeat Life Of Ren Anonymous” but it was the 6th one I wrote, as a prequel.

From the start of her sixth grade year, Karen Rogers is given the nickname, “WEB,” which stands for “Wicked Enormous Boobs.” Karen is the furthest thing from her true self and she tries to navigate the world while going through an early puberty that quickly turns her into a pretty young woman; something she doesn’t want or know how to be.
“Karen’s Web Of Chaos” begins on the last day of eighth grade, in June of 1992, when Karen is beaten up by a peer at school. She gets drunk at a party that night and tells her life story to a bunch of older kids who want to know why she got her ass kicked. She begins the complicated tale on the last day of summer, before sixth grade, and the book follows Karen’s story of her middle school experience chronologically, from 1989-1992. It is a prequel to the other books in “The Offbeat Life Of Ren Anonymous” series about Ren’s exciting but often traumatic teen years.
